GOTR FAQ's
- How long does the program run?
- The program is offered in the spring. It begins mid-March and runs through the first weekend of June. The 5K is the first Sunday in June.
- How often do the girls meet?
- Twice a week after school.
- What grade level is the program for?
- Grades 3 through 8.
- How much does it cost?
- The fee is $140.00.
- Is financial assistance available?
- It is the policy of Girls on the Run of McHenry County to offer our program to all girls who desire to participate in our program, regardless of their financial status. Families who are unable to pay the program registration fees may be awarded financial assistance based on their income. Scholarships are limited, granted on a first come, first serve basis, and may be limited by the resources available at the time of application. Download our Scholarship Application
- How do I register my daughter for this program?
- Registration is online prior to the season. For details go to our registration page.
- There isn't a GOTR location at my child's school. Can she go to another school location?
- Yes, your daughter can participate at another school if space is available.
